That's not the only reason romsets get rebuilt/changed, and not a good logic to understand when you need to update/rebuild romsets.įor example, ALL CPS2 games (so, including AvP) had their copy protection emulated out in 2019, so the romsets were changed for MAME and FBN (then called FBA) in that year, despite those games being emulated for ~decades (via bypassing the copy protection). I'm pretty people who've built the emulator probably have already figured out the game as it is not an obscure game by any stretch of the imagination.
